The English Activity Week
Modern Generation Private School recently hosted its annual English Activity Week, and it was a huge success. Students from all grades participated in a variety of activities designed to promote the use and practice of the English language.
The week kicked off with an opening ceremony that included a speech from the CEO of the school and the English HOD, followed by ecstatic
performances by students.
This was followed by a series of engaging activities such as a spelling bee, debate competition, and a quiz bowl, show and tell, as well as the
masquerade carnival, among many more activities. Students were also encouraged to come up with any other creative pieces and present them in front of their classmates.
One of the highlights of the week was the English speech competition, where students showcased their speaking skills and made 3-5 minute long speeches in English. This activity not only improved their language skills but also allowed them to express their creativity.
The school also created a platform to enlighten students about the importance of the English language and its role in today’s global society.
This provided students with an opportunity to learn and ask questions related to their language learning journey. Throughout the week, students were encouraged to communicate in English at all times, even during break time and dispersal time. This helped to create an immersive English-speaking environment and allowed students to practice their language skills in a real-life setting.
Overall, the English Activity Week at Modern Generation Private School was a resounding success. It not only helped students improve their
English language skills but also fostered a love for the language and encouraged them to use it in their daily lives.
