Our students kicked off the academic year with a lively *English Movie Carnival*, aimed at enhancing listening comprehension. Grades 1-8 enjoyed a fun movie day, complete with tickets, popcorn, and juice to create a theater-like experience. This exciting start helped energize students for the learning ahead.
In a continued effort to improve language skills, the *Cambridge Vocabulary List* was introduced across all grades. Grades 1 & 2 are working with the A1 Starters list, while Grades 3-8 focus on the A2 list. The vocabulary lists are accessible through each student’s school account, and a detailed study plan ensures daily practice during English lessons, helping students build a strong vocabulary foundation.
Additionally, we’ve initiated a *Handwriting Improvement* program for Grades 1-8. This program, introduced in September, offers dedicated handwriting practice twice a week, focusing on refining handwriting skills as part of their overall language development.
These activities are designed to engage students in fun yet productive ways while enhancing essential language skills in English, setting them up for academic success throughout the year!
