Our Academic Team participated in the Professional Development Programme conducted by the Oxford University Press with lots of vigour and enthusiasm. It focussed on the topics:
How to embed well-being across your school with Adrian Bethune
Developing 21st-century skills through active learning with Terrie Craddock
Encouraging well-being in the English language learning environment” with Terrie Craddock
Over the past few years, teaching and learning have undergone many changes; we have switched between face-to-face and online learning with little notice. Both educators and students stepped up to this new situation, and we all learned from the experience. However, it should be said that with so much change, we all need to be mindful of our wellbeing. The speakers addressed how to bring a positive link between well-being and attainment and embed well-being across the school, including a focus on curriculum, measuring and monitoring, engaging parents and the wider community and professional development.
