Ramadan is a special time for Muslims around the world. It is a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. It is one of the holiest months in the Islamic calendar. This period of selfdiscipline and sacrifice is intended to help develop a greater sense of compassion, empathy, and gratitude, as well as strengthen faith.
The MGPS family engage in extra prayers, recite the Quran, and give to charity during Ramadan. There are Ramadan-themed arts and crafts created by students on display such as lanterns, decorations, and cards.
Remember, the spirit of Ramadan is about fostering a greater sense of compassion, empathy, and understanding. In MGPS, celebrating Ramadan helps in promoting these values and create a more inclusive and welcoming community for all.
