    About Admissions and Registration

    1. Mandatory Documents for All Students (as applicable to grade level)
    2. Student’s Birth Certificate (Must be translated into English or Arabic if in another language).
    3. Vaccination & Medical Records (for Nursery, KG, and Grade 1)
    4. Students’ Identification
      • Valid passport copy
      • National ID/Resident Card
      • Valid resident visa (for non-Omani students)
    5. Parent/Guardian Identification
      • Passport copies of both parents/legal guardians
      • Valid resident visa for non-Omani parents/guardians
    6. Previous School Records (required for Grade 1 and above)
      • Latest report card or transcript from the most recent school
      • Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate (if applicable)

    1. Special Needs or Learning Support Documents (if applicable)
      • IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), psychologist/therapist reports
      • Past school records that note learning or behavioural support needs
    2. Proof of Address (if needed for transportation)
      • Utility bill or tenancy agreement showing current residential address
    1. For International Students / Omani Students Returning from Abroad (In addition to the above, international students must also submit)

      • With a valid visa
    3. No Objection Certificate (NOC from the sponsor company allowing the child to study at MGIS)
    4. Certified Transcript of the Last Academic Year (certified by)
      • The Foreign Ministry and the Omani Embassy in the country of issuance.
      • For GCC countries students: only the Ministry of Education stamp is required
      • For Omani students from the UK: Cultural Attaché stamp suffices
    5. Translated Transcript (In English or Arabic, certified by the Omani Foreign Ministry)
    6. Residence Card (for non-Omani students)
    7. Letter of Explanation (if academic records are missing – must be submitted by the guardian and referred to the Student Affairs Department for review)
    8. Equivalency of Qualifications
      • Arab Qualifications: Equalised electronically through regional MOE offices
      • Foreign Qualifications: Equalised by the Equivalency & Recognition Section of MOE
    9. Community School Students (e.g., Indian, Pakistani, Egyptian schools)
      • Last academic certificate certified by the Office of International Schools/Communities, MOE General Office

    1. Fill out the online admission form on the MGIS E-school system
    2. Upload the required documents
    3. An admission test will be scheduled for the student to attend.
    4. Receive confirmation and proceed with payments and final documentation

    Yes, Registration, Welfare/Admin, and Learning Resource fees must be paid to reserve a seat.
