  • Process and Procedure

The admissions process at MGIS is designed to be both flexible and informative, taking into account the unique needs of you and your child. The steps outlined below serve as a general guide and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

    School Visit

The first step is typically a visit to the school, our website, or social media platforms. This gives you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our community, curriculum, and values. During your visit, our admissions consultant will personally meet with you to explain the remaining steps in the process.

Although not mandatory, a school visit is highly recommended. It allows parents and guardians to learn about our academic programs, bilingual approach, facilities, and overall school environment.

    Placement Test

After registration is completed, our admissions team will contact you to schedule an appointment for the online placement test or evaluation. The placement test is a key part of the admissions process, designed to ensure students are well-prepared to succeed in our bilingual curriculum.

Early Years applicants will participate in a short interview. Students applying for Grades 1 through 12 will be assessed in the core subjects: English, Arabic, Mathematics, and Science.

    Place Confirmation

Once a student is offered a place at MGIS, parents or guardians must confirm acceptance within one week of notification. This can be done by email or by visiting the school in person. To secure the place, all required documents must be submitted and school fees paid.

If the number of qualified applicants exceeds available spaces, the student may be placed on a waiting list. The school will regularly contact families on the list to provide updates and confirm continued interest.

    School Records

We ask that you provide your child’s current school records or most recent academic reports to help us better understand their educational background and progress.

For Kindergarten applicants, school records are not usually required unless in special cases. However, for Primary and Secondary applicants, academic records are required in all cases.
